What is Botox, Dysport, Xeomin & Jeuveau? They are neuromodulators that are safe and effective prescription medicines that contain purified proteins . When injected directly into muscles they provide a smoothing effect on moderate to severe dynamic wrinkles that can last up to 4 months.
How long does it last?
The effects from Botox/Dysport will last approximately three to six months. As the muscle movement gradually returns, the lines and wrinkles begin to reappear. That’s when you know the area needs to be treated again.
What is a dermal filler? Dermal Fillers are used in static lines or in areas where volume has been lost through the aging process. They can also be used for lip rejuvenation.
What fillers do you carry?
We presently work with Restylane, Juvéderm, Bellafill, and Radiesse dermal fillers.
How long does filler last?
There is a vast array of dermal fillers can last between 6 months to 5 years. Based on your goals, budget, and medical history, your Provider will help you choose the dermal filler that is best for you.
What is the difference between Botox and filler?
The primary difference between the two is that Botox reduces the activity of muscles in the face that cause wrinkles. Botox is the better choice for dynamic wrinkles that occur when the face is in motion or making expression, as it will reduce their motion and visibility. Facial fillers, however, replace volume that is lost through the aging process by plumping and lifting the skin.
Can I go back to work after my injection? Will I be bruised?
There is always a chance of slight bruising for up to two weeks after an injection. Following your post-care instructions and using topical or capsule-form arnica can help with bruising.
What is a “Liquid Face-Lift”?

HALO/BBL - LASER TREATMENTS
What is the difference between HALO and BBL? HALO is a hybrid fractional laser (ablative + nonablative) treatment that accomplishes skin resurfacing. Halo precisely targets years of damage to your skin, including: discoloration, sun damage, visible signs of aging, uneven skin tone, enlarged pores, poor texture, fine lines & scar revision. Skin conditions treated with BBL, an intense pulse therapy/photo facial are pigmented/brown lesions, vascular/red lesions, skin firmness, uneven skin texture, and acne scarring or pigmentation
Why should I pick one treatment over the other? Our skilled provider will address your aesthetic goals and come up with a plan that is individualized to you.
Can I do both? People are seeing amazing results by combining these therapies.
How many treatments will I need to see results? You will have a dramatic results after one or two HALO treatments depending on your starting point. BBL treatments are given in a series of three or four correction treatments. After your correction series, we encourage continuing with maintenance treatments three to four times a year
How long do results last? Results are dependent on your self-care and follow-up. Even with correction we continue to age so it is important to follow your recommended maintenance treatment plan.
What is the downtime for HALO and/or BBL? Typically the HALO treatment have a four to five days “downtime”. BBL treatments have virtually no downtime but if your skin is red you can use cover-up make-up. You must avoid the sun and before and after the BBL treatments for four weeks.
Does it hurt? Prior to your HALO treatments we will apply numbing cream to the treatment areas so you will not experience discomfort during the treatment. After the treatment most people feel like their face is very hot. We provide you with a comforting cooling mask to help with that sensation and home instructions.
BBL treatments do not require numbing cream. People report a slight elastic band-like snapping sensation when the therapy is being activated. This effect helps us know that the treatment is being delivered at the correct settings.
LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Is laser hair removal permanent?
No, but laser hair removal will cause hair reduction. You can expect finer, lighter hair.
How many treatments will I need?
You will generally need 4-8 treatments to reach your hair reduction goals. It’s possible you will need future maintenance treatments.
What makes me a good candidate for Coolsculpting?
CoolSculpting is specially designed for those who wants to remove unwanted fat in targeted areas. Good candidates have noticeable, pinchable bulges that have been resistant to diet and exercise. CoolSculpting is not for everyone! You should not have the CoolSculpting procedure if you suffer from cryoglobulinemia, cold agglutinin disease, or paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria. The CoolSculpting procedure is not a treatment for obesity. It is not a weight loss program. In fact, most patients do not lose weight after Coolsculpting.
How long does the treatment take?
The length of your CoolSculpting appointment will vary depending on the number of areas being treated during the visit. Each treatment ranges from 35 to 75 minutes. Most patients have more than one area treated during the same office visit.
What areas can I treat?
In the United States, CoolSculpting is FDA-cleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges in the submental area, thigh, abdomen and flank, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll), and upper arm.
Where does the fat go?
Once the treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), they die and are naturally processed and eliminated from the body.
What does it feel like?
As the cooling begins during the first few minutes, you typically feel intense cold or burning sensation. This soon dissipates. The area generally goes numb within 10 minutes of treatment. Many people read, watch videos, work on their laptop, or even take a nap during their CoolSculpting treatment. After the treatment, you may feel some tingling as the area is massaged for 2 or 3 minutes. Patients are able to return to normal activities following their appointment.
When will I see results?
You may start to see changes as quickly as 3 weeks after your treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after 2 months. Your body will still continue to flush out fat cells for up to 4 to 6 months after treatment.
